虛擬語氣是一種特殊的動(dòng)詞形式，一是用來表示說話人所說的話不是一個(gè)事實(shí)，而是一種假設(shè)、猜測(cè)、懷疑等(在條件從句中或讓步狀語從句中)；二是表示說話人的愿望、要求、命令、建議等 (在賓語從句、表語從句、同位語從句)。 1、條件從句與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)不一致，其句型為：If 主語＋過去時(shí)，主語＋could/would/might＋動(dòng)詞原形， If I were you， I would study hard. If it rained， I would not be here now. 2、條件從句與過去事實(shí)不一致，句型為：If 主語＋had＋過去分詞，主語＋could/would/might＋have＋過去分詞， If the doctor had come last night， the boy would have saved. If I had not studied hard， I would have failed in the exam last term.  3、條件從句與將來事實(shí)不一致，句型為： If主語＋過去式/should/were to＋do，主語＋would ，could…＋ 原形 do，如： If it should rain tomorrow， we would stay at home. If I were to go to the moon one day， I could see it with my own eyes. 4.混合條件句 主句與從句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生在不同的時(shí)間，主句從句謂語動(dòng)詞的虛擬語氣形式因時(shí)間不同而不同，這種條件句叫做混合條件句。 If you had asked him yesterday， you would know what to do now. 如果你昨天問過他，今天就知道做什么了。 從句與過去事實(shí)相反，主句與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)相反 If it had rained last night（過去）， it would be very cold today （現(xiàn)在）. 如果昨晚下過雨，今天就會(huì)很冷了。 5、在條件句中如果出現(xiàn)were， had， should可省去if，將主語與這些詞倒裝，例如：  Had the doctor come last night， the boy would have saved.  Were I to go to the moon one day， I would see it with my own eyes.  Should it rain tomorrow， we would stay at home. Note： 1.在虛擬語氣的從句中，動(dòng)詞‘be’的過去時(shí)態(tài)通常用"were"，不用was。例如： If I were you， I would go to look for him. 如果我是你，就會(huì)去找他。 If he were here， everything would be all right. 如果他在這兒，一切都會(huì)好的。 二.名詞性從句虛擬語氣 在表示命令、建議要求、驚嘆時(shí)的名詞性從句中需用虛擬語氣，基本句型：主語＋（should）＋動(dòng)詞原形. Mother insisted that John go to bed at 9 o’clock. We suggested that the meeting should not be held. A.在句型 “It is important (necessary， strange， natural) that .... ” 中，that 后面的從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞用： should + 動(dòng)詞原形 我們有必要出去散散步。 It’s necessary that we should have a walk now. 2 她這樣做是很自然的。 It’s natural that she should do so. 3 重要的是我們要照顧好病人。 It’s important that we should take good care of the patient. 五.含蓄虛擬條件句 在含蓄條件從句中，假設(shè)部分不用if 引導(dǎo)的從句，而用介詞短語或其他形式來表達(dá) 。例如 Without your help， we could not have succeeded. But for your help， we could not have succeeded. He felt very tired yesterday， or he would have attended the party. 六.錯(cuò)綜虛擬語氣 在表示虛擬語氣的句子中，條件從句表示的動(dòng)作與主句表示的動(dòng)作發(fā)生的時(shí)間并不一致，這時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞的形式要根據(jù)各自表示的時(shí)間來調(diào)整，這種現(xiàn)象叫作錯(cuò)綜時(shí)間虛擬語氣。 If he had followed the doctor’s advice， he would be quite all right now. 如果他過去聽從了醫(yī)生的囑咐，他現(xiàn)在就會(huì)痊愈了。（從句過去，主句現(xiàn)在） If I were you， I would have gone to the theater that evening. 如果我是你的話，那天晚上就去看戲去了.（從句是現(xiàn)在，主句是過去） If my grandfather were alive now， he would be 100 next year. （從句是現(xiàn)在，主句是將來） 6.
